I think (and will happily be corrected if I'm wrong) that the "mirrors-in-the-mirrors" bug is caused by the way Arnaud positions his cars slightly further forward on the Y-axis than the other guys?

Hi Tom!

you will notice that on most of our F1 2014 and 2015 (Gezere, Hega, Isaint and me), you will see the mirrors shapes into the mirrors. Sometimes more or less... This is due to the dimensions of each car (height, width, lenght). And the mirrors are higher on the shape now.
Moving the carshape on the Y axis would be a solution but you take the risk for the chassis to touch the ground in game. There is a limit to not exceed:
From the center axis:
Y= -0.5000 (front chassis high - margin is good)
Y= -0.5200 (front chassis- good but no much margin)
Y= -0.5300 (front chassis touch the ground often)



So, the best to not exceed on the Y axis is Y= - 0.5200 (especially if you want to set your suspensions down on fast tracks, for example)

I am always at the maximum. This is why moving the car on the Y axis more is not recommended and I know that my team mates do the same thing (the picture above is from the RB11 by Gezere). And also, I prefer to keep the dimensions as close as possible from the real ones...

So, to avoid this bug, the best is to set magnify mirrors on 7 or 8 on the f1graphics file (depending of the car) to hide the mirrors shapes in game, more than to move the car on the Y axis...

My F1Graphics file doesn't have that line, do you know what else it could be called?

8 ; Magnify mirror (16 => normal <16 wide >16 zoom)

It's not far from the very top

Thanks, I found it now - I think I must have accidentally searched only in one direction when I used Ctrl+F haha.

EDIT: Just tested it out in game, it's a nice fix - thanks guys for the tip and the help!
