Barber Motorsports Park [W.I.P.]

Whilst gildoorf was busy adjusting my St Petersburg .gp4 (more on that soon), I began adding run off areas to a Barber Motorsports Park (round #2 of the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series) .dat that I had created a while back. Here is the current progress:







No pit lane means that no in-game tests have taken place yet (and there is no cc-line yet either!), but the elevation appears fairly smooth inside GP4 Builder.

If there is interest, I am happy to release once the basic .gp4 has been complete - i.e. once run-off areas have been completed and pit lane done. Might be a little while, but just want to gauge interest.

As it seems, you like IndyCar-tracks, Neldav. I can tell you, that I have a very good version of Houston, Reliant Park in progress .

You did a great job for Saint Pete. Hopefully next work will follow its standards.

I'm not American - I'm far from that, in a literal sense, at least - but I feel like I can talk American tracks pretty well as I've done a couple of DATs of them and studied them closely.

I'm actually a big fan of the Anglo-Saxon circuits, I think the classic British, American, Canadian and Australian tracks have a lot in common that make them the best in the world (well, after the Nordschleife, of course - it's ironic how I admire American and English tracks yet still think a German one is the absolute pinnacle of all).

I think most motorsport fans would agree with that sentiment. I absolutely cannot wait for this weekend (neither can you I see )

I would build Lyonesse fictional circuit if each day had 40 hours. Then I could do.

I have nothing against fictional tracks but why not build dearly missing classical ones first?
