Decent result for qualifying under difficult circumstances for the team.

Snake Motorsports is looking for a complete overhaul. I'm looking for race and test drivers who will be active for at least an entire season, it seems to be quite challenging!
Also we are looking for race driver(s) for the remainder of this season.

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

Someday we can perhaps be in a Christel again and qualify 1-2 ;)

That's a solid qualifying result, I didn't seem to be quite out at the peak conditions, so it was good to get a fairly good time in.

Wow, great result for Jack but one the other hand an incredible amount of bad luck for John :-o

used to be GPGSL's Nick Heidfeld
Michael, I've made some room ;)

In agreement with Ed and Charrel really, fourth and sixth isn't great, but it could be much worse. Prime position to add some more points onto the board.

Outqualifying Stefan doesn't feel quite as good when we are both so far away on the grid. Seems that rain doesn't fit us well. Anti-rain dances, anyone?

Race has been run, and won. There were quite a few number of retirements, and the end of the race was quite controversial. All will be revealed when the coverage is uploaded.

GPGSL Rd 9 Belgian GP – Race Day

Part 1

Hello and welcome back. We are now set for the start of the race. We have Elleker on pole, which is the first one of his career. Next to him is his former Christel VXR teammate Pedersen. This is going to be a very interesting race that we have ahead of us. It is raining at the moment, and from what we can see all the drivers are on slicks. Let’s head down to the track as the cars are now returning from their warmup lap.

Weather Report: Rain With Possible Clearing

Here we go. Elleker is on pole, with Pedersen next to him. When the 5 lights go out, it will be on.

And they are off. Elleker looks to have made a great start, as does Pedersen, while Jalving decides to have a look up the middle of the two.

Jalving’s move doesn’t work out for him, and ends up dropping a position to Greenhalgh. Further back, the pack are all jostling for position with moves being made by a few drivers.

The cars at the rear are all stopped as they sort themselves out.

Elleker is challenging Pedersen for the lead, while further back we can see a few drivers moving to the inside for their attempts at passing.

The Shadows go into battle with each other, while Nell watches on behind them.

Maverick finds himself behind McCarthy once again, only this time it’s a battle for 20th.

It’s pretty close at the front between the top 3 drivers.

Greenhalgh takes the fastest lap.

Nell has a look up the inside of Greidanus.

And the Demon driver looks to have made the move stick as he now sits in front of the Shadow.

This battle looks interesting.

Kederer has a look up the inside of Jalving, while further back it looks like Schieder has lost a few positions based on what the timing shows.

The rear half of the field look pretty close to each other.

Edwards is right on the back of Brunner’s Snake.

Behind him are both VSM cars.

But that doesn’t last long as one of the VSM’s runs wide.

And it appears to be Warrington who ran wide. As a result, he now sits at the rear of the field.

The battle at the front is still close between the top 3.

Pedersen now takes the fastest lap.

Here’s how the top 10 have moved since the start.

We have a MPR off the track, and it looks to be Jalving.

He manages to rejoin the track, but has lost a good handful of positions.

Now he has to defend from Brunner’s Snake.

Onboard with Maverick as he tries to get by McCarthy’s JHR.

Horvath take the fastest lap.

Van Renselaar has been swamped after rejoining from running wide off the track.

We are 4 laps into this race, so now would be a good time to check the standings.

Van Renselaar finds himself being pressured by Warrington.

Oh my! There’s been a big incident involving one of the Snakes and one of the JHR’s. What has happened?

From what the replay shows, it was Hayes who was involved. She had ran wide.

And as she came back onto the track, she ran straight into the path of JHR #23, which is Moinet’s car. Both cars had a wheel ripped off in the collision.

Gilson was very lucky to avoid hitting any of the debris.

Hayes also ended up hitting the wall on the other side resulting in another wheel being taken off.

More trouble again as Rodriguez has spun straight into the path of Jalving. That results in Rodriguez’s wheel being taken off, and Jalving needing to pit for a new nose.

Kederer now has the fastest lap.

More drama once again as there’s contact between Brunner and one of the TNR’s.

This looks bad for the cars behind as they now have to worry about avoiding the loose wheels.

With Brunner now stranded, the rear of the field have been forced to a standstill.

How unfortunate for Edwards. His car is a complete wreck after being hit by Brunner.

From onboard Edward’s car, it looks like Brunner had run wide through Eau Rouge, and the contact was made after Brunner rejoined the track.

Back to the action again, and it looks like the cars have managed to get going again, leaving Brunner’s stranded Snake left behind.

Elleker has a look up the inside of Pedersen, but isn’t able to make it by.

The track is now cleared of all debris, and now we go back to green conditions. Who would’ve thought we would have 5 retirements within the space of 2 laps?

It’s time for our first break. We hope to be back soon.

What the hell happened behind me?

Quite a mess, actually. 5 destroyed cars and a lot of debris.

Are they playing bowling? Hope, it doesn't get me.
