Very happy with that result!
Could've grabbed a podium if I was a bit quicker before the pitstops too

Owen Edwards @oensan 6 hrs
Still no top 12 finish but finally our first point. Gotta start pitting towards the end of the race more often, eh, @nhorry?!

Unless I'm very much mistaken... I am very much mistaken!

:-O ;)

Well... that's the best birthday gift I've ever had I think. I really enjoyed racing that race. Thanks boss, the car was perfect, everything was perfect, hopefully we can continue on this momentum in the following races.

And now, Champagne !

Up to 11th from the last grid position, and then a brake failure...
I'm not happy with the fastest lap point...
congrats to Moinet and JHR! =)

Seems like both Max and i managed to keep it together and score a solid batch of points for MAC! =)

Well happy birthday then :-D And congratulations with your win ofcourse.

At least we've seen again what the potential of VSM and Matteo Scala is, a podium is better then nothing. Chris had a tough race however did gain some positions and did grab a couple of points.

Bring on the next race, i want that win !

"If in doubt, Flat out."
I really enjoyed doing that race. I really thought Matteo had the win sown up. It was a cracking drive by Eric, congrats to you and Jack Hunsley on your debut wins :) Oh and happy birthday ;)

As for Aston Martin I've got mixed feelings. I was really pleased with Jack's performance, especially after the saga with Andrei. That was a fantastic drive towards the end of the race, another lap and you would have got the podium place from Scala. Really disappointed with John's race. He seemed to be ok to start with, but his tyres fell off the cliff. He later got caught behind Jake and seemed to get frustrated. No fault of Jake's, they just both seemed to slide wide in unison without hitting each other. John, don't lose heart, we can still pull this back.

I'm really enjoying this season, it's just so unpredictable :)

Official Results

Wow, a great race with an entertaining coverage!
There's not much to add to Stu's and John's comments on the race, I'm sure we'll have more luck next time.

used to be GPGSL's Nick Heidfeld
Yes! Another Top 10 result. Great, great, great! :-)

First podium: S8 Australian GP - 3rd at Testers sprint race
What a bad speed, couldn't do nothing with it. We've been very lucky here to get a double points finish but it's by far not enough for us.

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

So close to points for SCR, despite all that happened in the race. Just have to wait and see how the constructor's table has changed.

If anyone doesn't mind, I would like to put my hand up to run Jerez, unless someone else wants to run it.

Finally, some proper points on the board.

Delighted with second and sixth.

I'd have thought that would vault us to the top of the TC in light of SCR's troubles.

Also nice to get one over on Aston Martin and pinch second on the podium as well.

All in all it is looking like a good season. We traditionally start well and tail off later in the year, so our focus is on avoiding a similar fate.

Congratulations to Charrel as well, who I believe beats Ed to the flag again. He has really upped his game, and I can't wait to see how Ed can respond over the coming races.

Really annoyed with that loose wheel, as looking at the fastest lap table I had the pace to possibly finish in the points. Oh well, on to Jerez.

Wow. From 5th to 21st. That's got to be close to record? Do I get any points for that? Even more disgraceful given Eric won! Congrats Eric! Fantastic result! Sorry I was driling like an idiot and couldn't back it up
