Matteo you beautiful maffioso, great lap ! Let's hope we an keep this pace up and that Chris can get into the points.

Very very happy with pole, but now we need to grab us some good points at the end of the race.

Not happy with a 10th place here.. With a personal boost I was aiming for a top 3. Lets hope we have a clean start of the race and I manage to gain some positions on track :-)

Yet another disappointed result in qualifying and that with double boost.

12th. No surprises there. Hope there's a good race for TNR guys
Wow, not even half a tenth between 1st and 7th
I'm pretty happy with that!

Well, our no boost strategy for this race has me confused....LOL. One high up the grid, the other on the back row... Scratches the head....

Great stuff from Tobi for 3rd, not too bad from Ruben but obviously better is preferred by all at the team after the practice session hijinks. Either way, the points are handed out in the race - barring any mishaps I can't see why Ruben can't push forward for some solid points.

you spoiled me the results ;) Happy with another pole this season, the driver+team boost surely paid off so far, we just need to make it work in race :-)

Great pace from VSM, they really need the goddamn points. Podium maybe? Fingers crossed.
What the hell? No no no no no nooo!

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
Bloody Mafioso! ;) Sooo close to the first pole this season after the last sector worked out a lot better in the second stint. It's unlucky, but with a bit of luck, I might be able to snatch the win from Matteo. Or go backwards as so often last season. We'll see. Good first qualifying from Jack, too! We need a strong team result here. I'll cross my fingers.

We should all use the same ones but it will depend on what background they are sitting on

GPGSL S9 R4 South African Grand Prix - Kyalami

Race Day - Part One

Welcome back to Kyalami for the South African Grand Prix. The weather forecast is for a sunny dry day, so rain shouldn't interfere with the action today.

The cars have lined up on the grid with Matteo Scala on pole.

And they are away, Scala gets a great start and John Maverick slots in behind him.

Jake Legge is under pressure from several drivers.

Maverick has somehow lost 2nd place to Kederer.

Rodríguez struggles for grip towards the back of the field.

Kederer sets the fastest lap at the end of lap 1.

Greenhalgh passes Legge at the end of the straight.

Kederer shadows Scala (See what I did there?)

Rodríguez is passed by Horváth.

Maverick is our new fastest man.

Greenhalgh defends from Legge and Moinet.

Van Renselaar loses out to Somogyi.

Maverick has joined the battle for the lead.

Greenhalgh sets a new fastest lap.

The top three.

McCarthy and Moinet chase Legge.

Greenhalgh looks like he's catching the first three.

To underline the fact, Greenhalgh goes faster still.

Moinet passes Legge for 5th.

Van Renselaar makes a mistake.

Rodríguez almost capitalises on his team mate's error.

It's Kederer's turn for fastest lap.

Here's the standings.

Somogyi goes off track.

Rejoins in last place.

The first four have pulled out quite a gap to 5th place.

Greidanus, despite running double boost seems to be struggling.

Warrington has an off, but loses only one spot.

McCarthy runs wide and seems to have a split personality.

Kederer attempts to pass Scala.

But the Italian is not about to let the German by.

Maverick however takes advantage of their little battle.

Jack Elleker takes 6th from Legge.

Gilson comes into the pits with a loose rear wheel. Someone at SCR may have a donut thrown at him.

Moinet joins the battle for the lead.

Top five in one camera shot.

Maverick challenges Scala for the lead of the race.

And takes it!

Elleker is behind Legge again.

Scala attempts to take back the lead.

He leads once again.

Warrington takes Greidanus.

Lap 10, lets look at the standings.

Time for a break, we will be back with part two sooner or later.
