seemes like you still have a converted mclaren car ingame, but there's actually no converted car in the mod anymore

As that's the converted MP4-17, I don't think you deleted the McLaren folder before putting the new one in.

Mod v1.5 released in the first post. Delete the old version before installing!

Including
- the 5 new cars (Ferrari, McLaren, Williams, Jordan, Arrows)
- fixed alpha channels for some helmets
- new Fisichella helmet
- external steering wheels for all teams (some from 2001)
- updated cockpit textures
- some other minor fixes and improvements

Tobi is it possible to fix the 3d rims of the mod 2002? because the sidewalls are mirrored ingame and i think it's related to the 3d rims. The sidewalls itself are ok in gp4 builder

Will have a look at it later.

textures need to be flipped, they're fine for 2D currently, but the wrong way for 3D. Funny that noone noticed that before

sometimes it takes a little bit longer for me to see bugs

How to fix it:

-Open the 2002.csm file with a text editor (Notepad++, Editor, etc.)
-Go to line 47, add "\%rimtype% at the end (should look like this then: Tyres=Tyres\Treads,Tyres\Sidewalls\%rimtype%)
-Save & close the file
-Go to Data\Tyres\Sidewalls
-Create 2 folders called 2D and 3D
-Put the 9 wheel textures in both folders
-Flip the ones in the 3D folder with slimtex


Will be fixed in the next version (which will probably come with the next car). Don't want to reupload the mod just for that.

i have noticed another thing, both jordans have the red tcam for Monaco, A1 Ring, Barcelona and Hockenheim

yep, the mapping for car2 is at fault, uses the car1 tcam. Will see if I can fix that.

Edit: texture needs a tiny fix as well, crap.

Don't need to be sorry

Managed to fix the mapping (yay!), have to redo all textures now as there was a small yellow stripe on the car2 tcam (yes I am that nitpicky :p).

very cool , are you gonna to update the different colours for the tcams aswell? because there were yellow ones, orange and red ones in different layouts for the races

I think I said sometime before that this is where I draw the line regarding trackspecific stuff. Just gets too much at some point, for some cars it's already quite hard to keep track of all changes the way I do it now.
