Awesome work! thanks a lot!!!

One suggestion: What do you think about letting choose one Marussia and one HRT as last team? :)

Yep I've seen other mods do that, it would be a good feature to add. Possibly in Beta 3. (Y)

Two more bugs for you Tom:
1) When Schumacher's name is displayed on the sterring wheel (after start/finish line), it reads "R.Schumacher"
2) In the GPaedia, the pictures for Grosjean and Räikkönen are swapped around.

Nothing else I could find, good work! (B)

Also, any ETA on non-forced HD Car Models?

Two well spotted bugs AUS_Doug. Unfortunately they are both bugs from the original game and affect all mods.

1) Ralf Schumacher's name is a hard-coded string in the original game. I've noticed it myself before, it affects any mod with only Michael (and not Ralf) Schumacher in it.

2) Again it's a bug from the original game that was half-fixed by the official v9.6 patch. Originally the BAR driver's photos were the wrong way round in the driver selection menu as well. The game makers fixed the driver selection menu but not the GPaedia. Since in 2012 Lotus occupies the BAR slot, it affects the pictures of Raikkonen and Grosjean now.

Probably not going to do the low res version for 2012, but I will make it an option in 2013.

To get the mod you'll need to:
1) Install GP4
2) Install ZazTools (with CSM), the 9.6 patch, a decrypted GP4.exe and GPxPatch - you can get them here.
2.5) Get to know how CSM works (I)
3) Download the mod
4) Run CSM and double click on the .cuh file you just downloaded :)

Thank you!

And where can I find the tracks?

Download them one by one over at GP4forever ;-). You may ask JCaranti per PM for a downloadlink ;-).

And to your question before:
No, sadly no one was able to get the new qualifying rules working with GP4 so far.

Having a bit of trouble getting some tracks working,

The Singapore 2010 found on this page:

And the Bahrain track linked to on this page:
[gp4forever.com]

Can someone walk me through how to get these working with this mod?

Thanks in advance,
AUS_Doug

How to install tracks (TSM method)

I will explain how to install tracks using TSM. There are other ways, but TSM is my preferred method. This might seem complicated at first but it's really not, and it's worth learning how to do this.

TSM allows you to build many profiles of 17 tracks. You then select which profile you want to use from CSM.

Let's start by creating a new profile in TSM called "2012". Click "Manage profiles" -> "Create new profile" -> type "2012". Easy so far.... (Y)

Now we need to install some tracks into TSM, then add them to our new 2012 profile.

1) Install a track by clicking "Manage tracks" -> "Create new track" -> And type a name for the track such as "Singapore2010" or "Bahrain2012". Fill in as much information as you can about the track, such as name (e.g. "Marina Bay" ) and country (e.g. "Singapore" ).

2) Tracks are made of 2 main files: a .WAD file and a .DAT file. Enter these files in the corresponding boxes.

3) Click "Save".

Good, now the track is installed in TSM. Next, we add the track to the 2012 profile. Click "Manage profiles" again, and select the "2012" profile in the box at the top of the screen. Now highlight row 14 (this is the correct slot for Singapore in 2012) and then click on Singapore from the list of tracks. TSM will add Singapore to slot 14.

Now in CSM you can select the "2012" track profile.

Great stuff so far but I'm experiencing some tyre texture problems (and in game names are Fd) + how can I edit this cam view. I'm used to playing the game at a different angle (closer to the steering wheel).

For everyone having problems with the graphics, it is probably because you are using a default resolution (e.g. 1024 x 768) from the main menu.

You must edit the first line of your f1graphics.cfg file like this:

1 ; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (default 0)

I have updated the first post to make this clear.
