@all: I need to know who will be your race drivers, and who will be test drivers, so that I can put the respective variables in the .ini files of the mod, and to update the liveries with the correct driver names. Also, if you have only 1 test driver, please state whom of your race drivers he will replace in free practice. That's what I meant with confirm the lineups

The driver list is from the end of round 14, shouldn't there be a more up to date version? Also the table from 2007 driver's signed seems a lot shorter than the drivers that are signed in the table that shows remaining budgets for 2007.
Last but not least, is there only brembo to choose from as brake supplier? Can't find any information except teams that have signed Brembo for 6 million.
Right now I don't feel I can correctly bid on drivers to complete my line-up for 2007
I can however confirm that Felipe Massa will stay our number 1 driver, and we will (of course!) take to the asphalt with Ferrari engines

I think brake suppliers are the same as in 2005, so this list should still be valid

Awful long time no speak but I'd like to let you guys know where this series stands at the moment.
Unfortunately it appears that Connor has mysteriously vanished so at the present time and for the foreseeable future, the continuation of this series under his leadership is not going to happen.
However, this series has been my project for getting on 3 years now and has been running for god knows how long before then under Chris' leadership and as such I refuse to see it die with such a whimper, especially after the success it has enjoyed since emerging here. Plus it was getting rather depressing seeing this post stickied everytime I log on
So, here is what I'd like to propose. I'd like to get the series up and running again, albiet with a few changes.
1 - Reduction in race length - I know this is not exactly ideal but the only way I can run races these days is by recording them, and I simply don't have the hard drive space or internet to store and upload full races. In the off chance that I'm unable to record/upload, results will just be posted straight off to keep things moving.
2 - Removal of unnecessary sessions - essentially this would mean all pre-season and mid-season testing sessions would be abandoned. Instead, I don't know how many of you are aware of the GP4 Career series over at RaceDepartment, we will move to their system where team owners can buy specific upgrades for their cars whenever they please.
I believe with these changes, combined with the time saving measures that were already in place for 2007, should make it much easier to keep things going and if it doesn't prove to be, we can always fall back on just posting results.
On the mod side of things all the textures on my side were finished long ago so there shouldn't be much to do mod wise so we should be almost ready to go straight off the bat hopefully, which begs the question - how many managers are still around?

Rather than reduced races I'd prefer result screens only, maybe coverages/videos only for a few selected races.
Haven't continued with my part of the liveries, mainly because some of the lineups are yet to be completed. But I've finished and released the 2007 mod, so there are only a few things that need to be changed so that it can be used.

I'll still try to do my best to get at least a couple of full race coverages though, especially of the title deciders

Well you're on the waiting list now, but I don't know when you'll get a chance at managing. It could be 2008, or it might be until 2014, we'll just have to wait and see.
Also this is an offline series, the AI races for you
EDIT: Just a general notice to everyone,if we're are going just posting a screenshot of the results I'm very tempted to run the GP2 series alongside as that wouldn't be any extra work really. Plus there'd be no risk of the two series becoming 'unaligned' as I'd be doing both.
So anyone interested in managing a GP2 team whilst they wait for a spot in F1 just post here

Well you're on the waiting list now, but I don't know when you'll get a chance at managing. It could be 2008, or it might be until 2014, we'll just have to wait and see.
