Yeah, I agree. Then again I can be very biased and still want Jake to come back.

Hahaha. Cheers Gav, now this is going to appear in my head everytime I see him! I wish they had replaced him though, not a fan of him at all. The rest of sky's coverage is just great though Im finding! Love the onboard feed options during the sessions too!!

Yes, he did make some funny lines regarding team orders and Villeneuve! Pity no-one brought up Spa 1998.

He brought it up himself!

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

Ooh, nice sarcasm. If this was a Facebook post I'd like it!

Haha thanks, even though I was proven wrong the next post.

For those that missed it, his lines were:

"Jacques Villeneuve stole my lunch once, we had a gentleman's agreement as well not to do that."

Horner: "I saw great battles between you and Villeneuve in the past. How did you handle that?" Hill: "I beat him"

By the way, I'd like to say I think the BBC F1 2013 opening montage is awesome. I was mildly interested when I first saw the 3D computer view of Grosjean's crash at Spa last year, but then when I saw the similar views of Adelaide '86 and Adelaide '94, I was massively impressed. That, along with the shots of all the greats which intersperse the action shots...
It's a brilliant opening sequence.

Doesn't matter. A pop at Damon always makes sweet reading. :D

Yeah just found it, looks good! The recreations remind me of an episode of Seconds from Disaster or Air Crash Investigation ;)

My only gripe is pretty petty in that they cut straight from Senna to Hamilton.

Yep, agreed there. That's the only bit of it I have any kind of problem with too - just personal preference I guess.

Damon does seem to have inherited a small amount of his father's legendary wit. There was a good exchange after the Australian GP. Mostly paraphrased, because I deleted the show after watching:

Lazenby: (meh joke about Martin's fancy shoes)
Damon: What about my cagoule, I think it's pretty smart
Martin: Yeah, it looks like a fan has marked you with their pen
Damon: Well I have a fan, at least

You had to be there, obviously.

Lazenby needs to be removed, quickly.

What was the incident with Herbert and Horner? Where Lazenby almost had to restrain Herbert from talking?

"Trulli was slowing down like he wanted to have a picnic" LOL

Recently I play this fantasy F1 game

[fantasyf1.fanxt.com] is a very nice game.

I can buy 6 Drivers and team for my F1 constructor.

Holy crap. I've never seen any of this footage, but it feels weird reading stuff like this about Damon Hill. Maybe he's calmed down and lost some of the awkwardness and tension which was so part of his character through his time as an F1 driver and the years immediately afterwards. That has the effect of exposing a sense of humour in someone who previously came across as lacking one.

I'm still not digging Suzy from a presenting point of view. She seems to still be struggling and not settling down in her role. I thought the interview with Bernie in particular really threw her and there was a lot of awkwardness there. Think she just needs to chill out, and then she'd be a lot better.

Hill's always been a bit of a mixed bag, even when he was racing. I think he's never been as comfortable in front of a camera as, say, Jenson is, but every now and then he's pretty funny. I think part of it is that he has a ridiculously dry sense of humour - he was good friends with George Harrison, which says a lot.

So would you say he's got a Kimi-esque sense of humour at all?
