Alesi was famous for the way he held the wheel, amongst other unusual tendencies he had when driving. Ferrari even built a special steering wheel at one point(think it was 1995?), with the gear-change lights built into the top of it so his hands wouldn't obscure them.

While we're on about campness, how about Alonso's victory celebrations? More than a slight hint there. :P

His funniest one was probably Bahrain in 2006. After pulling all kinds of camp poses in Parc Ferme he did a Brüno-type camp salute on the podium after the anthems played. MS just looked at him and was clearly thinking "WTF?!".

That "duck quacking" thing he does with his hands on run-down laps is pretty funny too. Random as hell. :D

Wasn't Alesi a right foot braker too?

Quite a lot of drivers were until fairly recently - i remember reading about Rubens learning to left-foot break, circa 2002.

I think Jenson might still do it, or at least until very recently.

Heh, totally. And in fairness, after a long career in F1, anything afterwards is bound to be a step down, so you might as well have some fun with it and play some jokes which F1 would've been too serious for.
