if my memory don´t fail (and it´s probably it does ;)) in 1972 was an Eiffeland with only 1 mirror, and it was placed just in front of the nose of the driver (Rolf Stommelen i tihnk)

Which one? The Tyrrell? The Ferrari one must have been some sight to those who witnessed it. Can you imagine if someone tried something like that today? :D

I guess the Merc 196s have to rate pretty high. Awesome, but to this day very strange in F1 terms.

It wasn´t a Hill? I readed a long time ago (;)) that in the first Grand Prixs the Lola-Hill was a very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very BIG airbox.
