from the 90s to early 00s which car had the best livery?

I really liked the Gold Total Jordan from 1996

From 1990 to 2000? I have to say the following:

2000 Arrows
1999 Williams
2000 Benetton
Marlboro Mclaren
1997 Williams

These are the ones I think looked good.

I'm biased towards early to mid 90's for the sheer beauty of cars.

For me some classic liveries from this era (and from well before) will stand the test of time such as the;

Marlboro McLaren
Cannon/Camel Williams
Rothmans Williams
United Colours of Benetton
Minardi M91 and M192
Footwork Arrows
BMS Lola of 1993
1992 Lotus
1994 Sauber

And obviously the proper "Rosso Corsa" on the Ferrari as opposed to the more marketing led "dayglo orange" from 97 onwards.

To me, even the "ugly" cars of the early 90's still look pretty slick

As Jim, the 412T Ferraris are the obvious choice, and for a damn good reason. Both of them were utterly gorgeous, but I especially liked the slightly more macho shape the 1994 model showed.

Loved the Orange Arrows (though the 2002 shape let the livery down).

The early-1994 Sauber C13, pre-Tissot livery.

Those black, white and yellow Minardi's were gorgeous in my childhood - less so now, but still very good.

I quite liked the 1997 Williams too.

For me its got to be the Benneton B195

Jordan always produced a good-looking car IMO
Also a fan of the 96 Ligier livery (not the early one with the ugly Power Horse sponsorship, though :P )

Personally, I love the 1997 and 98 cars. Think that is probably because they were my first real experience of F1.

One livery which doesn't get enough praise is the 1994 Pacific. Terrible car but it looked beautiful.

The 1994 Benetton sticks in my memory as being exceptionally pretty - I loved the mix of deep blues and greens with the splash of white, further beautified by the flashes of red that were added early in the season on MS's car.

I'll add to the love for the 1997 Ferrari as well - it's one of the most beautiful carshapes ever IMO, and unlike many I prefer the brighter red Ferrari livery of 1997-2006. I think it's way better than the deeper scarlet.

I think the best overall field in terms of great liveries was 1994. The Benetton, Williams, Ferrari, McLaren, Sauber, Tyrrell, Ligier, Simtek and Pacific all had liveries which would've stood out on their own, but when mixed together they made a uniquely spectacular sight.

One of my favourite cars is the 1992-1993 Benetton, purely for the carshape. I thought the livery was a bit @#$%&, but the carshape just rocked.

Oh yeah, the Jordan got a bit creative with the B+H, with the snake, hornet and shark. Still the original green livery on the J191 is iconic.
I agree also that the 1994 Pacific was cool, it's a shame they ruined it in 1995.

I think the 1998 Arrows is one of the most underrated cars. Alos some of my other favorites include 1997 Jordan and Mclaren, 92 Williams and Larrouse, 1994 Williams, Benetton and the green Tourtel Larrouse

Wasn't that the livery they wanted to use alongside a Lucky Strike livery, but they weren't allowed to use different liveries which led to the dual livery?

Lamborghini 291, a lovely shade of metallic blue



Scuderia Italia Lola T93/30 (in a weird, 90s, Saved By The Bell opening credits way...it's pretty cool)



Minardi M01 (really pretty car, heartbreaking to see Badoer retire from 4th at the Nurburgring in it)



And lastly, the Mastercard Lola T97/30. Sure, it entered and failed to qualify for one race, but that one entry was enough to make an impression with their livery.
