The Real Story of the Race was that the Renault's fell apart and the Ferrari's didn't.
Rosberg headed for the sliproad and retired, probably because of Nicotin starvation they have still not given him a helmet with a little hole in it.

What an awesome qualifying session.

Staggered they managed to overcome di Resta, but perhaps he burned his tyres out a bit too much.

Great throw of the dice by van der Garde and the two Marussias. :D

Only Spa. :D

I feel for Paul, I hoped he would get that (mainly to stick it to his critics) but I guess it wasn't to be!

Marussia and Caterham got that right, didn't they? Good stuff from them!

Great opening few laps by Fernando.
Kimi's left front brake looks like it's gonna wear out soon.

Kimi pulling some funky passing moves - and his front brake seems to be in better shape now.

Kimi's first retirement from a GP since July 2009. Crazy.
And so was that Gutierrez-Maldonado battle!

Maldonado...
Clipped Sutil, knew he had damage, turned to go into the pits - clumsy move and hit di Resta.

That was the least exciting Belgian GP I can remember. After the first few laps, there was little other than some funky Kimi moves and the Maldonado mess.

I would like to know how Perez got a penalty for shoving Grosjean off the track, yet Vergne got nothing for pushing Hulkenberg off.

Maldonaldo was basically being a bit of a pillock (not unusually for him).

He was in a car which was basically off the pace of all except Caterham and Maurussia, he was on old tyres which had given up their best performance. Gutierrez was crawling all over him AND he was going to pit that lap anyway.

He should have just let him blend through and then pitted... instead of moronically defending, running wide, getting swamped by the cars behind and then still trying to take the pit lane entry.

Kimi's moves were fun.... didn't seem to mind where he did them either, at one point I was half convinced he'd pull off a move on the Masta kink off on the old course ;)

Probably because Perez has previous - like when Grosjean got penalised in Hungary.

I have to agree with Gav, a pretty underwhelming GP considering how good qualifying was.

Vettel steamrollered the opposition and is now some 40 odd points ahead in the championship.

Saying that, there was a lot of action and passing at the very least, so it certainly wasn't boring.

Maldonado: "Sutil was the cause of the di Resta crash"

Gotta love it. How does this man avoid the flak that crowds out Grosjean?

It's only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything.

That... and at the time I think they were too busy face palming Maldonaldo.
