I'm among the people who say Mercedes is the top team this weekend, and I'd love to see Nico take the win here just like Keke. But if there's something that F1 (and Monaco... and Pirelli!) has taught us recently, is that anything can happen. :-)

Rosberg is the first one able to do it :)

Monaco: Lewis Hamilton was outqualified by:

Alonso (2007)
Kovalainen (2009) after a Q1 crash...
Button (2011)
Rosberg (2013)

So maybe a case of odd years?

I am so happy that Nico is finally starting to shine!

I've backed this guy since GP2, and at last his true credentials are appearing.

I bloody hope he's feeling racey tomorrow, he's gonna need it! :D

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

I didn't mean Monaco... I meat for 3 race weekends in a row. Since Britney has now done a hat trick of poles of also means he has out qualifed Hamilton 3 times in a row... Since Hamilton has a reputation as one of the very quickest in F1 and a prolific qualifier I was wondering if any of his team-mates had managed to do the same.

I see... ;) Unless I'm mistaken it was the 2010 Australian, Malaysian and Chinese GPs - but that in itself shows how long ago it was!

Where/when did Perez end up behind Button?

god, I could kill the commentators of RTL.
Hamilton fell behind the two Red Bulls because of the pitstops. If I saw it right, Rosberg already was driving away when Hamilton got into the pits. The main commentator is always talking about "Hamilton had to wait behind Rosberg"...

I always said stop giving Heiko Waßer drugs (or give him more) and let Christian Danner do the commentating alone.

In all my 36 years of being a Formula 1 fan and supporting the Woken based team today was the first time I was happy to see a McLaren retire. A sad day indeed. @#$%& Perez. With a big red hot lamp post. Repeatedly.

Well... Grojean sort of had his first lap nutcase moment... just about 62 laps too late.

Text book drive by ol Britney there... Can't keep those Red Bulls down either. Hamilton ballsed up the pit-lane gap but I think he's being overly gloomy about things as he's still driving damned well it's simply that Nico is too (and thats his problem).

Good stuff by Findia.. Perhapps some inevitable strategic foots in their own mouths but good drives by both Sutil and Di Resta and some excellent overtakes.

McLaren, Perez and Button... Lols.

Ferrari... Wtf? Alonso out of sorts and Massa striking twice, hope he's ok.

Good recovery to the points by Kimi... Though he might lose that because he sped under the safety car.

Dodgy accident for Maldonaldo and Chilton. I think Maldonaldo was largely blameless but maybe it's karma, Chilton was clumsy.

Nico is developing so much as a driver. Great to see him emerging as the natural Mercedes team leader. It also helps put into perspective how well MS drove when they were teammates.

Fantastic result for Nico, so pleased for him. He just seems to be going from strength to strength. Someone once described him as an A.I. driver ........ well in one respect, I guess that negative can be turned into a positive because all week-end he was flawless. I just want to see him dominate more and more and take his place at the helm because he has the makings of a world Champion with the proper backing.
Everything else ..... I agree with Jim & EC83.
