2013 Bahrain GP **SPOILERS**

Yeah... After skipping any kind of qualify sim yesterday and being relatively close to Hulkenberg's Q1 time I was willing to give the kid some slack. But what did he make of that extra race prep?

Not much it seems.

It's awesome that GPG is still going strong. I'm hoping we keep picking up new members, and some of the old-school members who've not posted for a while keep coming back too. (I admit I've not been posting much lately myself, mainly because I've recently gotten a home and a new life, so my sense of priority has shifted a lot since the end of 2012. But I will be back posting regularly soon.)
It's great being part of a community like this, so hopefully we have an extremely long bright future!

Wow! Thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed that. I could say so much... but most of you have said it all already, so I won't bother!

One thing I will say, though - I think this was the year that I really started to appreciate Sakhir as a track. I never saw it as one before, but I now see it as a 'power track' up there with Monza, old Hockenheim, etc. Thought it was £@$#ing thrilling hearing the cars blasting at you full-revs during the first few laps.

Can't believe they ditched Kobayshi for that guy.

Averaging 17th in qualifying, his best being 14th, with the rest in 18th.

In Hulkenberg's hands, the car is capable of 11-12th on average.

What a waste of a talented and exciting Kobayshi

Though Gutierrez brings money, they stood better chance in getting the extra tv money with Hulkenberg and Kamui in the team with more championship points, could well have matched or exceeded what Gutierrez brought with him.

On another note, Bianchi is good isn't he?

Can see him getting a top drive in a few years if he matures well.

Kobyashi will return with Toyota powered Sauber.
