Nico is being very petulent! Ross telling him off again! Nico's asking for the pace to be increased. Ross saying there's a big gap behind and nothing to gain in front, just bring the cars home.

I cannot believe Christian Horner.

"We gave drivers orders and they took things into their own hands. They decided to race".

No they @#$%& didn't. Seb did. There is no "they" about it.

Horner and Marko really need to grow some balls dancing around the issue like that.

That fact is that Seb broke team orders and that the team WILL NOT condemn him.

An embarrassing race. Wtf Alonso's team thinking about all the first lap? Why he even doesn't made the decision by himself? What the heck was going on with the Force India team? Why the hell Vettel again violated the team's agreement? Why Ross forced Nico to surrender even if he was way faster than Lewis in last laps? Why McLaren team still loosing the wheel nuts? Why why why...
And btw Pirelli, DRS and Kers forces still ruins all the F1's magic sweetness :(
DISASTER

Yep, I was yelling at the TV at that point too. "DRIVERS?! DRI-EFFING-VER, SINGULAR!"

Because Hamilton would have been anyway faster than Nico if allowing them both to race. Both teams Red Bull and Mercedes wanted to secure maximum points with doing exactly same thing. One of the crying Germans did like team wanted and other one didn't.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

I dont think so. Hamilton had a run of fuel issue, but Rosberg didn't. It seems something like this imo.

That's completely right.

The way that Ross spoke after the race to Sky seemed to suggest that both cars had fuel issues. It does make sense, given that he put it down to underestimating the pace. Why would the two cars be fuelled differently, given that they were in fairly close grid positions? Both cars were setting a similar pace too, with Nico perhaps even hotter than Lewis. Anyway, both drivers seem to be handling it the right way, and neither can be too depressed given how quick the car looks.

Great race overall though! I was slightly worried that 2013 would the season that no one cared about, but nothing could be further from the truth, it seems.

the facepalms of newey and brawn during the race were priceless ;)

also during an interview with the german tv niki lauda spotted toto wolff, told him to get in front of the camera asap and gave him kind of a reprimand for not letting the drivers race for 3rd ;)

Boss Stefano Domenicali says it was Ferrari's decision not to call Fernando Alonso in to repair a damaged car early in the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Domenicali said: "We took a risk that didn't pay off."

Disgusting behavior by Vettel.

Other than that. Race wasnt too bad. Unlucky about Alonso, would have liked to see if he could have challenged for the win. Think Rosberg should atleast been able to overtake, it looked more dangerous by making him stay behind!

Bianchi again showing his worth

That was like watching an episode of Eastenders! Handbags at dawn all round!

Thoroughly enjoyed it, but at the same time felt thoroughly miserable. "I'm enjoying it because I hate it so much", like a pantomime villain.

Maybe I have double standards, but I felt that the finishing order should have been:

1. Mark
2. Seb
3. Nico
4. Lewis

I normally like it when I see a driver ignore team orders and just RACE, but today I couldn't help but not like the result. It was almost like Vettel expected the team to let him past, but when he wasn't allowed to he got stroppy. But, he was very gracious in the post-race interviews and it was nice to see him hold his hands up and say "I messed up, sorry." It was also refreshing to see the Red Bull team having a moan at Vettel on the team radio, even Christian Horner.

BUT, I do think Ross Brawn should have let Nico through. Maybe I'm biased, because I'm a massive fan of Rosberg (also like Hamilton, too, though). But in my eyes the team should have ordered Lewis to let Nico past. No wonder Lewis was ahead if they under-fuelled him. Rosberg had the better overall pace and more fuel, so common sense should mean that he gets the podium instead.

At the end of the day, I like to see drivers stay respectful (sorry Red Bull), but I also like to see team orders make sense (sorry Mercedes).

The only thing that riled me was that Mark always comes off worse in these Red Bull shenanigans.

Defends against Vettel in Turkey - Red Bull say he should have given more space.
Vettel's front wing breaks in Silverstone, so Webber has his taken from him.
Ordered to stay behind at Silverstone the following year (which he does, when he could have forced the issue).
Then today.

I did find it interesting in the BBC interview with Horner that this "goes back to Brazil and before"... was Seb unhappy that Mark squeezed him at the start?

Loving Mark speaking his mind though. And the middle finger. :D
