Your team is not active, because it has not taken part in a round yet. Once the Malaysian qualifying starts, you will be competing and marked as green. The same happened for all of us with the Melbourne GP.

That is how it usually goes. Most of my cunning plans almost work.

Four drivers out of six in top ten. Not bad. Unfortunately those other two failed to finish the race.

Great! Post your team name when you have joined the league. I see that you are having problems. You need to complete your team and then save it, before you can join the league. Select your 6 drivers and your constructor, and click SAVE. Then you can join the league.

Thankyou!

I'd like to take this opportunity to bless everyone here in the league, especially my fellow Americans.

May god be with you all.

You are all blessed and fortunate.

God bless America.

We welcome our new ozzie friend Gareth!

Thanks for signing up guys. The league is doing very well now. For those of you that missed the first round, you can always look at Jim's summary of the first round, and you make your own adjustments to see how well you are doing. And if you are really good at this, you can still win the league even when you missed the first round!

Some funny things going on in the game:

Most added:
1) Jules Bianchi
2) Max Chilton
3) Charles Pic
4) Giedo van der Garde
5) Adrian Sutil

It seems that a large portion of players have spotted what I pointed out in earlier in this thread, that there are serious points to be made on back markers. There does not seem to be a big worry about reliability or the ability of the drivers to get the car home though. Sutil must have impressed a great deal of people with his Australia drive.

Most dropped:
1) Sergio Perez
2) Kimi Raikkonen
3) Lewis Hamilton
4) Mark Webber
5) Jenson Button

The big loser here are the McLaren drivers. Especially Perez seems to have underperformed compared to expectations. The same goes for Hamilton and Webber. It does not seem to have registered that Webber's troubles in Australia was due to the KERS failing him at the start line. That Hamilton feels he could have taken pole at Malaysia has not swayed players either. Most surprising is it, that many players don't seem to think Raikkonen will have sufficient performance in the near future.

Looking at the qualifying grid, then Ferrari, Alonso, Massa (!) and Vettel would have been good investments. These choices don't even register in the top 5 picks for this round, and it is not because players already have them (Ferrari-Ferrari, 6.7% [numbers not adding up right for constructors] - Fernando Alonso, 10.2% - Felipe Massa, 5.1%, - Sebastian Vettel, 8.6%) Worthy of note is it, that Ferrari and Alonso together with Max Chilton, despite the low numbers, are the choices that most players have in their teams. This means that no clear betting pattern has been established yet, so there is still a lot of room to leap ahead of other players with the right picks. This analysis is based on qualifying results, and that of course is not race results - but they are an indicator of what is to come in a few hours. This is going to be an exiting round!

Despite Alonso & Ferrari rather letting the side down today I'm pretty pleased still with my line-up with solid performances from the rest of my choices. I see little reason to make any changes at this time.

Yup, I'm sticking strong too with my initial lineup. Surely Ferrari and Alonso can't have two shockers in a row!

Webber to start at the back of the grid. It's 3 points per position he takes, plus what he might score in regular points. Looks like none of us are going to gain from that.

Standings after Round 3

1: DarksideF1 - 316
2: Simtek - 307
3: Tokar - 277
4: Solent - 185
5: TortoiseF1 - 183
6: Robrotronics - 159
7: Sebastian Patel - 142

Tokar & TortoiseF1 appear to be the big points scorers this weekend with everyone else managing fairly sensible hauls as well. I'm still fairly pleased with my team-lineup (my drivers finished 1-2 afterall) even if Merc let me down with unreliability on Britney's car. Still little reason to make changes.
