Gp3 2000 with LAN

Hi me and my Brother want to play GP3 2000 over lan, what we have to choose?
TCP/IPX?
Serial cabel?
Modem?

LAN... Have fun, my friend and I do the same every "second week"...

Ok but in the game under Multyplayer option there is 3 choice: TCP/IPX, Serial Cable and modem. What i have to choose?

Choose IPX if you are on WindowsXP and below.
In WinVista/7 there is no IPX-support so try LAN.

TCP/IPX of course - that is LAN!

..but remember: Multiplayer is not working!! -you can just do a "computer to computer-connection", a "Directlink".
AND you need a special RJ45-cable (translated from german to english: a "cross-patched" or "cross-over", sorry I´m not a network-guru) but NOT the normal RJ45 one! (there is only one different)

To get best performance your ..gamedir/gconfig.txt should have values like:

[...] good 128 1 1280 3 1280
[...] good 128 1 1280 3 1280
[...] good 128 1 1280 3 1280

Hey guys i have another question: Is it possible somehow to replay the whole race in LAN mode, in single mode i can, but in lan i can't change in the graphic menu?

..don´t think that this is possible

Maybe there is a way: The file what you save when you play LAN is xxx.LGA and the file when you play in Single is xxx.RAA. So i rename the file .LGA to .RAA and now i can load the file in single mode and i can reverse and get faster(f4, f5,f6...) but only 18 seconds.
Somehow i want to make in a program to record 1:30 in LAN mode.

NEWS: I install gp3 and play lan with gpxpatch and gp3v.exe(gp3 video: tool for gp3 to replay up to 120 min) and then i rename the save game file from .lga to from .raa and i can review the whole race!
But i want the same in gp3 2000 so maybe somebody create gp3 video for gp3 2000 or any idea?

I wrote for him i wait for answer, Are there any body who knows e-mail adress for Rafa who made the gp3 video tool?

..could be not so easy, because that tool is maybe 10 years old..
