Problem when editing CCpower in Magic Data, plz help! [solved]

Posted by pirx
Talking about gp3-2000/belini tracks:

Everytime I change CCpower inside the MagicData not only ComputerCars are affected, also my cars power is raised.
Someone knows what is responsible for that?

thx

I'm no specialist in magicdata but ingame there are settings for race options / opposition spread. maybe you have set all the same level?

also in gpxpatch / gpxset there is a setting for car power team dependent

maybe you tried this already.... :(

here in game
"opposition spread": 2000 Levels is checked

and in GpxSet
"carpower team dependent" is checked

everything should be ok, but isn´t. another riddle...

You have the GpxPatch option "car power team dependent" on, so it is correct: that value affects you too.
Uncheck the box, if you don't want it.
Bye.

..ok. But I also use defined Performance.txt-files in combination with a Seasonset.ini, Trackset.ini,Carset.ini & Physics-file. So, just to be sure I ask again:
Will the oponents drive like in the Performance.txt defined if I uncheck option "car power team dependent"?

thx for your patience!

Car power team dependent: If checked, the player's car will have the same power as the computer car of that team would have (also in hotseat mode).

So if you uncheck it, the performance file still affects the computer cars, but not the player's car.
