Nice to see Singapore progress, thank you very much

Today we can enjoy the Japanese GP at Suzuka in wet wet wet conditions

Hi all

I know that a .dat version of Austin, Texas is on its way, but what about Sochi Autodrom..?

Is there any chance that someone might create a decent .dat file for this new circuit on the Formula One calendar..?

Mmmm... I think I'm the one on both of these tracks.

CoTA is very hard to do due to its crapy height changes, so don't expect to see it before ages.
Sochi is easier to do : FLAT ! I've made a first dat but it is a bit too long at the moment so I need to reduce it to the correct lenght before first release.

Hi Eric

That sounds very fine. I think a decent/good .dat file is a great start and then we can add other items later on, perhaps the community could join forces in that regard

Regarding CotA I think it must be a hard job to get the elevations right. Perhaps an idea to make a few compromises in order to at least have an Austin layout/track available. But then again, perhaps a correct detailed track is the best - what do other members think of this...??

I would agree that some people could do the Dat's some people the jams etc.

I recently tried doing a circuit, and it's a nightmare and I'm sad to say I gave up :P So I do appreciate all the work the current circuit builders do.

totally agree, Nathan, thats why i focus on updating and not creating a track.
Once again, i tried to straighten the singapore sling, but without result.

Singapore is uploaded.
Use nightsky for best experience.
