Elio's GP3 Mega Patches - 1981, 1985, 1991, 1998, 2002 & 2009

Hi guys

Here is one more Mega Patch. The last for a little while.

F1 1981 - a great battle between Piquet, Reutermann and Jones. Some classic cars and interesting tracks including Las Vegas.

Big thanks to Ettore for his 1981 track pack. I have made some changes to some of the JAMs. Some of you will notice that the track layout for Long Beach is the modern layout but with 1981 adverts and other JAMs. I choose to do this as the feel and detail of that track was better than any other Long Beach track I have seen. The extra corners are no big deal. It would be good to have the best of both worlds, but I am no track editor!

I am now working on an F1 2009 Mega Patch that needs menus and some JAMs, so might be ready in April or May. My F1 1994 might take longer and Belini tracj jams need converting from 1996.
I also want to re do the track menus for 85, 91 and 98 to match the new format I have settled on (eg 81 and 02). I also plan to make cut scene videos for all of them, as F1 1985 has.

The next totally new project will be F1 1976, but that will take a while as to fix all the JAMs in the otherwise good Nurburgring track will take ages! Got to get rid of those cows and orange leaves!

there is only onE thing, in the 1991 mod, we can see the changes when we make pitstop.

in the 1991mod in the race when i go to the pitstop, i cant see the pitstop-menu where i can change the fuel, the tyres, you know?

Ah, yes I know what you mean. This is a downside to using that kind of steering wheel. Pressing 'Ctrl' and the number of the panel that makes the wheel to see underneath or turn all panels off for a moment using the 'K' or 'I' key (I forget which. If you still can't see the text then you need the change the text colour in the graphic file called Cpithi3_art in the bitmaps folder.

Its me again, been a while. Set up my own business recently so very busy ... but here is an Easter present.

As promised, here is an update to the track maps of the 1985 Mega patch. You just need to cut and paste the bitmaps 'Gp_Art' file to the 'bitmaps' folder, or install the bmps yourself manually.

1quicknick - F1 1991 link works fine as far as I can tell.

Evandro - Yes, that video was fun to put in. You have to use a programme called RADTOOLS but the video needs to be the right length to start with so I don't now if I will bother to make more.

Working on F1 2009 right now. Just got menus left to do so about a month. Then doing F3000 1989 and F1 1976 and 1969 but they will take a long time!
