It is still under construction. I want to release here step by step all my work.

PS: Did you consider filling the black mirrors in car .tga with a more general rear-mirror-look (lets say - just like tarmac and a bit blurred) to make it more authentic??

Installed the mod, a bit supprised when the intro started but then a big smile appeared.
What an improvement to the original game !!! Well, well done.

Mr. Holemad, you are right that most of the tracks are updated by Mr. Shlund, but I used some textures from your 2012 tracks and also reduced track file for Abu Dhabi....and in MOD is also your Hungary 2012 included...it is not in track list..but is there to choose...so you have your place in credits list.


...and yes intro is funny...great work of Mr. Nemesis.

thanks and you are right with mirrors...here are to ways how to fix it:

1. your way...I was testing something similar...it looks cool, but it was little bit confusing...you are driving...car is moving and mirror picture is still static...and most confusing it was in situation when somebody is overtaking you...you check mirror and see only track...and car comes from nowhere...

2. most realistic way: check real T-cam pictures from TV....the real T-Cam is in angle so you can not see track behind...you can see only the own car which wears this t-cam...so we can put in mirrors pictures of own car-body...and there is no problem that mirror picture is static...because it is realistic and physically right.

...or 3. way....black mirrors..and all immediately know that mirrors are not working

I see what you mean I'll wote for version 2 for further releases... (I can't work i layers myself)

1)the key Z to brake does not work
2)T cams and Tv graphics does not work

HI,

I only know how to solve the braking problem...

Go to 'gpxpdata' and open 'keys' ini.set.... Then look at the buttom of the list for this:

Game_ControlSteerRight=.
Game_ControlSteerLeft=,
Game_ControlBrake=Z
Game_ControlAccelerate=A
Game_ControlShiftUp=SPACE
Game_ControlShiftDown=X

Hereafter change Game_ControlBrake=? to 'Z' or what you prefer... Save the ini as it is now... Worked for me without any problems...

be aware that you have to type it in capitals, or it won't work...

thanks for downloading.

1. "Z" doesn´t brake...Mr. Shlund and Mr. Holemad are right with solution. I forgot change it because here in my part of Europe we have switched Y and Z on keyboards.

2. T-Cam and TV graphic don´t work:
- press button "Page Up"...T-cam is in reality on-board camera.
- if there is not T-cam and tv graphic press keyboard "I"...with "I" can all layers of t-cam and graphic appear and disappear.
- if still not working...check that you have turn on GPxCinfo in GPxPatch

if not working...please answer these questions:
- do you see hands and visors in cockpit view?
- did you change some settings in gpxpatch?

I hope that help..if not..don´t hesitate and ask...I am sure that we will find solution.

Marco, if he doesn't see tv-graphics, visors,......at all, he might not have installed your mod in C:\Grand Prix 11.
I had the same problem first : wanted to be smart and installed it in C:\games\Grand Prix 11 but forgot about the links
in gpxpatch.
