where abouts u working at with Jaguar? i worked for Jag for a week at MIRA, basically doing engineerig work. taking cars apart, labelling pieces, inputting them into teh computer system. helping to write formal reports, helping to devise new tests etc. also examined cars when they came in from the track, and actually going out road testing in them.

i worked in an accounting office. They sat me down on a monday and set up a spreadsheet that had thousands of account details on them. They said that each individual one had an error in it, so i had to reinput the formula into the table. Come Friday when I left i was only half way through. It was that Friday I decided not to persue a career in Accounting ;)

I went to my dad's place last year called 'Barron McCann' and worked in the workshop. I programmed chip and pin card readers, Fixed some Laser Printers, Touch screens, keyboards and I even got to go into a small room and smash a till drawer around 'till it opend! :D I was happy with that as a works experience, but some of my mates had a crap time and didnt do much. I suppose it depends on what the employers want to risk letting you do.

Got stuck here for 2 weeks. http://www.cicl.co.uk/home.htm. Never seen so many nude/Page 3-esque calendars in one place. I did get to press the button that sent a ChampCars (I think) monocoque up a ramp to its doom. After returning to school, we had a feedback session in General Studies. The whole class couldn't believe I was allowed to do that. My teacher asked if I enjoyed it and was shocked when I said no! My bosses made me clean/hoover/polish the ENTIRE ramp afterwards. Not much fun getting and keeping a massive vacuum cleaner on a ramp that ends about 5m up in the air and remove loads of carbon fibre dust., I tell you.

I never did work experience at school either. I did, however, do some after I'd finish to pad out my resume. Which was sort of redundant because they offered me a job not long after I'd finished.

Lets face it, they won't see many real girls ;) I worked on a farm (wanted to be a farmer back then...), and it was slave labour for the most part, but I did get paid £80 at the end, and bought an entire Mega Drive with it, a huge step up from my humble Master System ;)
